Project Personnel
Ashley Clark is a graduate student in the Community Development program at UC Davis. She developed this project as part of her master’s thesis which explores the relationship between immigration status and identity. She sees photographs as a way for immigrant and refugee youth to communicate their hardships and aspirations to a wider audience and challenge the negative stereotypes that stigmatize immigrant and refugee communities. She plans to continue doing research with immigrant and refugee youth in the future.
